Dash or dot on Dish

On a 942 receiver is their a way to enter a dash (or dot) as in 7-1 (7.1)?

They both work... try it. I don't put the extra zero in anything I tune. Example 15.4, I enter 0154.

Does this process work on the 921 receiver too?

I think that I found a button to do this but I haven't done it in so long I forget what it was, try the bottom left button on the remote (or bottom right). I think it was one of those.

To steve615: yes, it does work on the 921. To AdamGott: ?
