Anybody have an idea how much data an average 30 minute HD program uses via dish anywhere?

It depends on how fast you're streaming at the client, which would depend on WiFi or provider speed

The satellite feed is about 2GB/hr for HD. It varies from 1.3 to say 2.6 GB/hr. OTA can go over 6GB/hr. SD is half or less.
