Jersey Sure
Check out the price of the DTV International Dish on the box. Please don’t laugh; the vendor was in love with his dishes they were not priced to sell.

The last 3 pictures are of an antenna made for amateur radio satellite reception and transmission off of a ham radio satellite. They are 2 meter and 70 cm antennas, check out the use of the plastic compasses for azimuth and elevation.

I've seen this guy in years prior. Same high prices and same kind of dishes. I don't recall if it was the same person or not but a couple of years ago someone with a lot of 18"-20" dishes and DBS LNBs was telling people that they'd work for FTA reception. True, at the time you could get NASA and a half dozen other channels but he was very misleading to say the least. I spoke up and let everyone within an earshot know the truth :)

The ham satellite homebrew array also has a S-band (2.4 GHz/13cm) downconverter and patch antenna attached to it. I believe AO-51 was in V/S mode Dayton weekend so that's probably why they brought it, if not just for show.
