Ok my pansat 2700a died and it's time for a new box. What should I get? Any suggestions? Thanks!!!

well thats a good question i have coolsat 5k and like it.. i think i would also like the Merc II and Traxis 3500 ( they all sound easy to use like the coolsat and alot of members have them here . also if you like the pansat you might want to stay with that. look at several of the gold sponsors they sell a few of the receivers.
SatelliteAV = have dealt with them & they are very helpful.
Sadoun = have bought from them & they have a very helpful site.
other gold sponsors sell fta receivers also
another thing to remember and to ask the person you buy the receiver from is who will stand behind it / service it if it fails or are you in the cold.

What exactly do you mean died? It might be possible to bring it back to life if you reflash it using null modem cord?
weather related or old age ??
Do your home work a good Fta receiver will have a true Blind Scan
i have the Cs 5000 it does the job for me
