I guess their live on Universal at the moment but not on the Olympic channels yet. The Norway girls are pretty hot.

Dedicated Olypmic Channels are:
365 (HD) Olympic Basketball (on 61.5 and 129)
367 (HD) Olympic Soccer (on 61.5 and 129)
655 (SD) Olympic China (Mandarin coverage of the games on 118.7)
657 (SD) Olympic Korea (Korean coverage of the games on 118.7)
(one of many stories on these channels listed)

It also looks like there might be more coverage on 473 & 474 which were XGames channels that now have new program descriptions, guess we will find out in todays uplink reports.

But, it looks like the basketball and hockey channels are HD only. Don't know if SD subs will be getting any Olympic Basketball or Soccer love.

This is pitiful. The Soccer channel (on Dish) is still running a slate (saying that coverage starts on 8/6/08) despite the fact that the channel is showing games on other providers. What this means is that while Dish has the channel up, they're not properly feeding the content yet. Get your act together!!

Why is there nothing on the Olympic Soccer Channel? All the information on the NBC website says they should be showing this programming from 5 AM to 5 PM.

Not at all. Thats how part of the proposed baseball replay system will work.

Looks like it came on at 1:00 pm EDT.

Since they are showing the first match, China vs Sweden, it appears that any delay was due to NBC.

I don't think it was an NBC issue, as other providers (FIOS, U-Verse) were showing games on the soccer channel this morning.

Perhaps, as Scott's note indicates, an agreement wasn't actually made until today, and so they didn't turn on the channel until the agreement was announced?

No matter, much of the stuff on the channel will be replays (as many soccer games will be happening simultaneously).
