Delay is between pressing a button on the remote and Joey executing remote command. Most noticeable when using transport controls (Fast forward, Reverse, Play, Stop) on programs recorded in DVR. Same model but different remote used in another room on Hopper does not have this problem. I have changed batteries and even replaced the remote but the problem persists.

There will always be a delay on Joeys because the playback is controlled by the Hopper.
My 650 is fairly snappy with my WJ. Certainly not as sluggish as you have described.
We hate to hear you having problems with this, computerdr. Do you by any chance have a DISH remote to see if it also is delayed in the commands? Also, if you press the "System Info" or "Up", "Down" arrows on the Wireless Joey itself, does it give you the same delay?

I've used Wireless Joey, and it has always been INSTANT, just like with a wired client. The Harmony would be accessing the IR control, so if the Wireless Joey is behind the TV, perhaps the delay is the IR bouncing off of walls until it hit the RF sensor on the Wireless Joey? Or maybe the IR is slow to respond on this unit, instead of snappy fast.
