Dish is very busy anytime you call or chat Why?

Seems like now every time you call or chat with dish they are extremely busy.. Normally 50 or so in the Q.. did they cut back on reps? I know the Fox sports dispute is going on but that should not keep phones that busy.. Ideas?
 
It’s not just customers. We’ve had weight times lately up to 40 minutes trying to get our field support. The whole phone operation, No matter why anybody is calling, lately has been an aberration. Customer service reps seem to be completely clueless on how to do anything anymore whether it’s dealing with customers or dealing with technicians. It is the number one area where Dish needs to get their act together and start trying to live up to that JD Powers award

Dish at one time had 14 million

DISH at one time had no million. They were in the right place at the right time
and now are going through a correction. Separating the wheat from the chaff
as it were.

What's with all this gloom and doom and dire predictions?

They fired a ton of customer service agents before I quit from all locations and closed down a few call centers. There are much less working for DISH now.
 
When was that, roughly?

I can definitely understand the frustration of having a long wait time. We have been busier than normal, which is causing those wait times. We are working as quickly as possible to be able to answer your chats and calls. I absolutely apologize for the experience. --Trisha R.
 
I called to get a deal because of the lost RSNs. They had a special # on their auto answer system for RSNs. It had a 15 minute delay. I hung up and called back and selected programming update and was connected immediately, I got a deal on the multi-sport package for $6.50(50%) for 6 months.
