Given Dells lack of a decent android presence I don't consider this to be very big news. None of their android products has sold particularly well.

This does not surprise me at all. Dell might as well be called Microsoft/Dell.

They have never really had any alternative but MS products that I can remember.

What's your definition of relevant? $60b in revenue, $11b in profit somewhere in the ballpark?

2.63 billion (FY 2011) so I guess so. I had not search out the data before I asked. Still relevant; just less than years past (esp in the server arena), but they seem to be on the rise again as a whole.
