Eye of the Beholder: The Hardcore Physique
Bodybuilding has its own language of symmetry and shape, and some would say unnatural proportion. Meet the men and women who seek the ultimate perfection of the human form, and learn how East and West often pursue different visions of the "perfect" body.

Premieres: Saturday, May 22, at 10 p.m.
HD in the Making: Eye of the Beholder

Eye of the Beholder, shot entirely with High Definition cameras, investigates and breaks down the preconceived notions of beauty that are defined by the cultures we live in and make us who we are. HD in the Making, was on the set through it all, documenting the ins and outs of an HDTV production. We'll take you backstage at the USA Bodybuilding championships in Las Vegas. Strap you to a motorcycle side-car mount at the Honda test track in the Mojave Desert racing six inches off the ground at 100 mph. And you'll go behind the scenes to some of the most incredible tattoo and body modification studios around the world. This isn't your average old TV. This is HD in The Making.

Nothing is breaking my preconceived notion that people who have piecings and tats on 90% of their bodies are ugly.
