Do I have to get the "professional" installation?

I want to sub to Dish since Voom is bust but I don't want to wait around for an installer to come out to my house. I'd rather do it myself. Can I do the install on my own??

Yes, I did it myself... Bought Dish 300 + switch from eBay...

But to be honest, if I had to do it again I would pay them the $100. I have had trouble with the used switch from ebay... I know I spent around $150 when you factor in RG6 cables and a chimney mount, and that got me another legacy LNB. For the Dish $100, they would have likely upgraded me to all DPP LNBs and therefore made my whole installation work better (long cable runs)...
