Diff between HR20-100 & HR20-700

Newbie here:

What are the major differences between the two and is it better to go with the 700 and spend the extra money.

Both units are priced the same. If you need a rf remote, then the 700 is the way to go because the 100's rf does not work as well as the 700's. No problem if IR is all you need on the 100.
 
They are both listed for $299, but deals may be available.

Differences:
-100 runs cooler.
RF remote works better on -700 (internal antenna) than on -100 (external antenna).
-100 had both optical and coaxial digital audio.
-100 has second network port (I don't know if it is functional).
-100 may have a slightly larger hard drive (I haven't verified this).
-700 has newer software if you participate in CE program.
-100 made by Thomson (RCA); -700 made by Pace.
 
Chances are if you'reordering a HR20 fromDirecTv, you won't have a choice in what model you'll get. I know I didn't.
