Diplexer/Separator or Bust?

I just had a DVR tuner installed at my apartment and the installer didnt want to drill new holes in the wall for another cable to go the 2nd satellite input. I know Dish has a separator/diplexer for this issue, but as far as I can tell Directv doesnt. Now im stuck with everyones favorite contract (the good ol' corporate trap) and the digital equivilant of a vcr that costs me $8 a month. Any suggestions?

you need to have a 2nd line run for it to work right

Yep 2nd line and an 8" flat RG6 jumper through or under an available window or door. Works 100% fine.

If you can find the ones that are welded/heat molded as opposed to hand crimped, you will have better and longer results.
