I will be getting a 40gb direct tivo on Thursday. Can you upgrade the hardrive to a larger one without buying the more expensive machines, or do you guys find that 35 hrs of recording time is sufficient?
this should be moved to the DirecTivo forum. anyway yes you can upgrade to any size drive you want. 35 hours is too little for me. depends on how much you like whats on TV I guess.
