Direct TV and the golf channel negotiations

What is the latest word on the negotiations between Comcast ( golf channel) and Direct TV? Does it look like they will be dropping the golf channel?

I have another question about getting the golf channel HD with Direct TV. It looks like the only way you can get the golf channel IN HD is to subscribe to the premier package and it cannot be purchased ala carte or in a sports package, is this correct?

Golf Channel is in Choice Extra and above .

If you look at the programming on Direct tv's website, it shows the Golf Channel is in SD ONLY , NOT HD in the choice extra and above. If you look at the HD PROGRAMMING, the Golf channel in HD is only in the premier package according to their website. Is their website incorrect? Do they allow you to get it ala carte or do you have to get the premiere package?

I' don't have the Premier Pack and I have Golf Channel in HD.

I have Choice Extra with HD access.

Again Choice Extra and Above have Golf SD and HD on Channel 218.

And no you can't do A'La'carte

I only know of 2 A'La'Carte choices with D*
Babys First TV,
Fox Soccor Plus

Thanks, i guess their website is incorrect. If you have access to their site and look under the HD channels, you can compare what packages have them and what do not. It shows the ultimate and under does not have it in HD and it shows the Premier does. I guess i need to see what else they show i would not get and really would. They really need to correct that, programming is a big factor in trying to decide what provider to go with.

I can confirm that Golf HD is in Choice Xtra.

You for got Outdoor Channel.

It can be had for 3.50 as an ala carte option.

How about Fox Soccer?, I'll pay $3.50 for that, But not $7-$13
