Direct TV service in Mexico

Hi,
I have Direct TV HD at home iin the US. When traveling to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, I would like to take my receiver with me and have service at my condo. I know there is recent legislatiion or agreements with Mexico that changes satellite service. Can I now, or will I soon be able to use receivers from the US in Mx? What dishes would I need there? Thanks

If you can get the signal in Mexico, just take the receiver with you. You'd need another slimline dish.

It will prob depend on which satellite you're trying to use. Some have footprints that are right on that line where you are going. In any event, plan to tilt that dish almost straight up!
