hey
i was wondering... if i had a direct TV system could i change the LNB and use it to watch FTA channel's
is that possible?
or would i need to change the receiver?

DirecTV uses a totally different system, and they have no FTA channels.
A DirecTV LNB and dish can be used to pick up a few good FTA channels with a LEGAL FTA receiver, but you really need a 30" dish and Ku LNBF to get the full advantage of a FTA receiver. We have a FAQ area here and all the details of what you need, and what you can get with an 18" (DirecTV/Dishnetwork) dish.

What can I get with a DirecTV Dish and LNB...........

thankz for the info but the direct TV Dish is about 90cm, give or take.
because of my location Direct TV only gives out very large Dish's some 1Meter.
