Directv 11 reciever

I'm looking into getting a D* 11 reciever for the bedroom. Would this be a good reciever to have?

I was also wondering about the D* 10 reciever. Whats the difference between the 11 and the 12?

It just depends on your usage. The D11 is the standard receiver. If you are just using regular standard def tv and do not want DVR functions then that will be fine.

The D10 is pretty much out of date.

I would highly recommend though picking up at least a H20. It has high def support if you ever decide to upgrade your tv. This will more than likely become the next standard receiver as it utilizes better technology than the D11, specifically MPEG-4.
