NFL fans across the country just got another way to catch all their favorite games this football season.

Amazon and DIRECTV have entered into a major multi-year agreement to offer Prime Video’s exclusive Thursday Night Football lineup to NFL fans visiting more than 300,000 sports bars, restaurants, hotel lounges, retail shops and services, and many other venues nationwide.

DIRECTV for BUSINESS will now deliver live NFL game action to not only well-recognized national chains, several of which boast 1,000 locations or more, but also your favorite local pub just down the street. Fans visiting any of these same venues will receive Thursday Night Football’s extensive pregame, halftime and postgame coverage as well.

The first NFL TNF game that will be available to commercial accounts through DIRECTV for Business is the final preseason matchup on Aug. 25 between the San Francisco 49ers at the Houston Texans. The multi-year agreement then includes the entire 15-game regular season Thursday night games starting Sept. 15 when AFC West challenger the Los Angeles Chargers visit the defending division champion Kansas City Chiefs.

Use the DIRECTV Sports Bar Finder App to locate a nearby DIRECTV-equipped venue.

The real question will be how many bartenders will be able to find the game in the guide. The amount of times I've watched someone scroll the guide (with both SD and HD listed) for upwards of 15 minutes only to go right past the channel they need...

Watching now, what a great picture, makes that fake 4K look awful that is put out by Fox.

IDK? maybe thats why they are bartenders if that cant figure that out? Hope they dont drive cars, that must really put them over the top?

As to finding the game, its isn’t exactly hard, but they tossed it up in the 9000 channels, which are mostly for installers and airplanes and such.

Why not put it at 701 where Sunday Ticket goes?
