I'm wondering if this situation will fall under the same set of rules as the price increase for those new subscribers, like myself, who are locked into their old price til the end of their 12 month deal? Considering this price stucture didn't take place til after I signed onto an HD package, those channels should stay with me til my 12 months are over. I did have to callin back in december when they shut me off and I was told then that they's give me another 90 days. I don't really mind the extra $5, but it's not what I signed up for when I made my 12 month package deal and I feel that should be honored.

They'll honor the original package price, meaning no $3 increase till the first year is up. They will not honor the extra package as removed channels. You'll have to pay the $5 if you want the 5 channels.
