Directv HD VS Cablevision HD

I've had directv for 3 years now and slowly watched the pq go down the drain. My dvd's look sharper than directv's HD, so I'm thinking of making a change. I'm thinking of switching to cablevision, but I'm not sure of their pq. Is it HD or HD-lite, and how does it compare to directv's HD.

Honestly, Cablevision's HD is sharper and crisper than D*'s HD. Cablevision's HD is HD, not HD-lite. The only downfall is the lack of 24hr HD channels on Cablevision's HD lineup, only INHD.

They also list Universal HD, Locals include WB (for now) and PBS (channel 13 HD). Still better than D* lineup right now.

If you go with cablevision make sure you have a good cable line going to your HDTV. In my little experience with HD from cablevision, if the house was prewired or has too many splitters the HD picture will pixelate often.
