I have a Winegard HD Slimline SWM dish on my RV but it stays inside most of the time. I'd like to have TV while I'm in the barn. Can I install an A/B switch with the RV dish on one side and a barn dish on the other side? Will the A/B switch conduct power from the power source to the LNB? Are all A/B switches the same?
Thanks,
Owen

Just install an approved splitter and connect a receiver to it.

Unfortunately what you are trying to do is not possible. I'm not sure how the wiring is run through you rv but you would need to hook a line from the barn dish directly to the receiver as chip said. Keeping in mind the barn dish needs to be powered.. whether you use a swm splitter from the barn or hook the dish straight to the rv.
