 So much for them following the list of top DMA's.

I dont live in Denver but seeing the problems they had with the new digital OTA towers, you woulda thunk Denver would be one of the first markets outside of New York and LA.

Here you go; this is the list, yet again it should be found in almost every thread by now. Enjoy! Note some cities have networks listed as "NOT" those are not sched to be on at the same time; more than likely thanks to affiliates fighting over contracts. Remember your milage may very as this is always subject to change.

That would have been nice if they would have thrown us a bone, but instead we are made to suffer while a few idiots hold the entire metro area hostage.

It has gotten somewhat better with ABC now transmitting from Republic Plaza downtown with the rest of the low power stations (as opposed to their coathanger antenna and gerbil-powered transmitter on their rooftop which almost nobody could get).

Maybe I'll be able to get a slim line dish as a reward for having to wait? :D

Per Skyreport...four more added today (5/17) for total of 24 Mkt area's......
Beginning today, DirecTV is offering local high-def channels to customers in four new markets: Milwaukee, Phoenix, Salt Lake and St. Louis.

DirecTV's roll out of local HD channels is part of a nationwide expansion of HD programming that will culminate in 2007, when the satellite TV service will have the ability to deliver more than 1,500 local HD channels and more than 150 national HD channels.

DirecTV offers local HD channels in 24 cities with plans to launch an additional 26 cities later this year, which will cover more than 65 percent of U.S. television households.

That I do not know as I understand there can be variables like: account length, account standing, and maybe what gear and the quantity of gear to be swapped also. You will need to call them directly, I can't see every users situation being the same.

you will also need the AT9 dish with the H20 receiver.

But is the upgrade free?
----------------------
Free? No...Customers who subscribe to a programming package that includes local channels receive both the standard and HD signals at no extra monthly charge. Customers in each of the four markets can receive local HD channels by purchasing a new H20 HD receiver and satellite dish. Existing HD customers can upgrade their HD receiver and dish for $99 per receiver. New residential customers can take advantage of a $100 Advanced Product Rebate through July 1, 2006. Receiving equipment is available at major consumer electronics retailers like Best Buy or Circuit City, and through DIRECTV.

Could a MOD please sticky this list and lock it so it can't be replied to or bumped down? Thanks

You may want to edit your list before it becomes a "sticky"
Milwaukee went live on May 17
St. Louis Mo. " " "
Phoenix " " "
Salt Lake City " " "
Seattle went live(not ABC,FOX) on May 31
Indianapolis went live (not NBC,CBS) on May 31

Thats just the list that has been out there for months, nothing that was put together today or in the last 3 weeks. It keeps getting buried in threads and then more of the same questions appear about cities listed on it because no one can find it.
