I've seen somewhere that DirecTV Slimline dishes are the perfect size (75cm/37in) and have the perfect arm length (17 3/4in) to work with a Shaw xKu triple satellite LNB for their 75E dish. Is this true? Is there any variation at all that would make it work better or worse?

Absolutely perfect! They are actually a much better dish than the Shaw one.
Would a Directv Slimline 22.5" x 33.5" with lnb arm 22.5" work too? The arm was measured from end to end which is past behind the dish. I am thinking of using this since it is already mounted on the roof. I'm not even sure if the xKu shawdirect lnb would fit the same.

I know the 75E dish is 21 inches flush from back of dish. I'll measure the arm on a 60E and post it. I think that dish is about the same size.

Hi guys, what i understand in this thread is Shaw direct 75E dish and Directv slimline dish are technically the same size?
Could you please provide us more info?

Thank you!!
