DIRECTV Transponder Map ~ Data 10/14/2026

Advertisements
The Blues, Wild, Blue Jackets and Hurricanes will be producing and distributing their own games with the NHL similar to what the MLB distributed teams do. They all mention cable, satellite, OTA and D2C viewing options, but they haven't announced any actual partners yet.

As for the rest of the US teams:
Kraken -> KONG/Tegna
Sharks -> NBCS California
Kings -> Angels Broadcast TV
Mammoth -> KUPX/SEG+
Golden Knights -> KMCC/Scripps Sports
Avalanche -> Altitude
Stars -> Prime Video with simulcasts on KDFI
Blackhawks -> CHSN
Predators -> WNPX/Scripps Sports
Penguins -> SportsNet Pittsburgh
Capitals -> Monumental
Lightning -> WXPX/Scripps Sports
Panthers -> WSFL/Scripps Sports
Flyers -> NBCS Philly
Rangers -> MSG
Sabres -> MSG Western NY
Islanders -> MSGSN
Devils -> MSGSN
Bruins -> NESN
Red Wings -> Detroit SportsNet
Ducks -> Prime Video with simulcasts on KCOP

The Ducks, who simulcasts games on KCOP, will be looking for a new streaming partner after Victory+ missed payments. The TX Rangers also left Victory+ after the all star break because of payments, but that doesn't affect the Rangers Sports Network on 677.

Any guess as to when these new CBS subchannel feeds will appear on satellite? Saturday is approaching quickly...

It looks like CBS is going to replace the Nexstar CBS on their existing channels.

WSPA announced that "7 News and CW" will be on DIRECTV channel 62, but they don't make it clear if that means WSPA is moving to 62 and DIRECTV is dropping WYCW and its syndicated shows and local sports, or if they are just keeping WYCW on 62 and dropping WSPA and its syndicated programming. DISH is moving WSPA to 8 and keeping WYCW on 62, Spectrum is moving WSPA to 3 and keeping WYCW on 9.

i.e. this weekend WYCW 62.1 has Spartanburgers games, but not WSPA 7.1, and some shows like 700 Club, GMFB Overtime, Seinfeld, Goldbergs and Last Man Standing are only on WYCW's schedule.

Birmingham is the real wild card, unlike the rest of the markets where DTV already carries a Nexstar CW via a sister station or subchannel along with Albuquerque where Nexstar's FOX subchannel is already carried, WIAT/42 is going independent until September 1st when they can pickup the CW affiliation from Sinclair's WTTO/21, and Hearst is claiming CBS via WVTM-D4 will be on DTV 42.

And at least as of now, Minot-Bismarck hasn't announced what subchannel CBS will be on as KBMY has no local news presence, it's mostly a simulcast of their Fargo sister station. None of the 3 major listings providers have CBS programming scheduled on any of their subchannels.

In other words, it's a mess. We all just have to see what shows up on what channels Saturday morning.
I just ran a data collection and analysis like we do on Wednesday morning. There is no change to the APG data for any local stations as of tonight, compared to Wednesday morning. There are of course, many remappings for all the live sports channels compared to Wednesday morning.

And there are no replacement CBS subchannels testing on the stream server. Including Rapid City's KNBN-D2 which is already available to sat customers on channel 22 as a MPEG4-SD MyNetworkTV station, but not available on stream.

They're probably going to treat it like they've done with Sinclair's sheanigans and repurpose the existing Nexstar entries for the new CBS, CW and FOX stations, which means WIAT Birmingham might be gone until September, and either WSPA or WYCW might be gone until the next renewal or the multiple lawsuits against Nexstar make their way through the courts.
