Disabling HR21-700 Screen Saver??

After 15 minutes of viewing a channel the screen saver ( dimming of picture) activates. Pressing two dashes will disable it, but it will reactivate when the channel is changed.
Does anyone know a way to permanently disable it as it is not needed for an LCD screen?

Sorry Tom, there is no way to disable it. It is a requested feature for possible future improvements, but my personal guess is that for the amount of work it would take to make it optional, they probally won't bother.

Do you mean when it is paused it comes on or when you are watching a show on tv? If it is when you are watching a show there is something wrong and I would call them and ask them.
