I tried to call but waiting time was 55 minutes, tried chat but 118 ahead of me. So I'll
ask here does Dish offer any kind of discount or refund for the loss of these channels?
Thanks

Just as soon as you volunteer to pay more when they add a channel. They used to.

I look at it this way, I should only pay for what I signed up for..They can always ask me if I want that channel added

Per your agreement, and strictly technically speaking no. You agreed you expect no compensation or substitution. You also agreed that you do not pay per channel and that any channel may be added or removed at anytime. So they did already ask you about the addition of channels.

Yikes, so if you bought Showtime and for some reason it was pulled, Dish could keep on charging you a monthly fee?

Yes. That actually happened when HBO and Cinemax were pulled. America's Everything Pack subscribers were still charged the full monthly fee, although Dish did automatically put a courtesy credit on those accounts, to offset the cost of the lost channels. I am not sure, but I think Dish did the same thing for those who had HBO and/or Cinemax a-la-carte, continuing to put the charge on the bill, while offsetting it with a credit.
