Discounts... what do I have to do?

When I call for the AAA and referral disocunt do I need to do anything on my end after I call them and have it all set up or will it happen automatically on Directv's end and be on my first bill?

After you call to schedule the install, but before the install happens, you will need to go to http://www.directvrebate.com/ and fill out the form there. If you do it before the install, then the rebates take effect on the first bill, otherwise, it supposedly takes 2 to 3 months for the discount to be applied.

Make sure you call the number for the Directv deal that shows up on the AAA site after you log in. If you don't call the special AAA number, they can't give you the deal.

The CSR can submit the rebates automatically so you won't have to fill out any forms. Ask them how long it will take since most of the time the rebates take 2 full billing periods to start showing up.
