I don't know their rating history here, but I wouldn't imagine they would be worth a higher carriage cost, when Discovery networks are already sucking. Looking through their programming on Wikipedia, none of those sound interesting b

Oh... a channel about dogs. This will be good to have on the background, my child may find it amusing to watch a program about dogs... a program about dogs helping the blind... a program about a dog helping a blind man in a disaster.... a program about a dog helping a blind man in one of the World Trade Center towers.

Hey Scott. Any word on atleast getting a taste of Smithsonian?? I have never watched it, and have no idea what is on it, but if it had any correlation with the museum system, I would like to try it.

Hey Scott. Any word on atleast getting a taste of Smithsonian?? I have never watched it, and have no idea what is on it, but if it had any correlation with the museum system, I would like to try it.

I think it is excellent. I watch it occasionally on Verizon Fios thru a relatives Slingbox from Tampa Florida. I think it might be on channel 367 when we get it.

I know right? First we get the people requesting HD versions of channels not offered in HD, now it's old channels that have gone away or renamed, next will be old channels that don't exist...in HD. On that note, when will Dish add Festival in HD?
