I'm getting Dish 1000, ViP622 and 2 additional TVs installed today. This will be an upgrade from Dish 500 with 3 receivers (811, 301 & old 5000).

Right now the installer is telling me that he can only give me connections for 4 TVs.

Should the installer be able to hookup 4 receivers feeding 5 TVs? The 622 will be used for 2 of the TVs and the other 3 are in different rooms. There are RG6 cables running from each room to the outside connection point (homeruns).

What kind of switching, separators, etc should he be using?

Thanks for any help you can provide.

With a DPP44 switch, you will be able to hook up the stated 4 receivers, 5-ROOM! setup (2 rooms for the 622 receiver). And since it's all homeran, it should be a matter of just swapping out your D500 for the D1000, installing the switch after the groundblock and then tie the existing (and new receiver!) receiver runs to it

Not sure what you are asking.. if you are looking to get the 622, 811, 301 and 5000 hooked up he probably will not be able to do it. If it is only 4 tuners say the 622,811 and 301 then yes he should be able to. Thouigh it may depend whether or not he has an adaptor for the 5000. Let us know how it goes

As has already been posted, 622/811/301/5000 is NO problem for a DPP44.
