Anyone have any interesting idea's on what to do with your Disg 500 once you upgrade to the Dish 1000? I know you can repoint to 61.5 and 148, any other spots for a Dish receiver to pick-up?

If so what switches are needed?

Or

Anyone have a pictures of some creative ideas?

There is not much you can do with it with your existing system if your Dish500 had a legacy lnbf(s) on it unless you change it over to DishPro. Even then you would need a DPP-44 switch which is expensive in order to use it at such a location such as 61.5. You could keep it for a spare or if you needed a third receiver you could use it on receiver #3 and #4 to prevent from having to buy an expensive DPP-44 switch.
