Dish 500 & Dish hopper?

Hi Guys,

I'm planning on using a dish 500 i have in my garage for tailgating I have a dish hopper and I got an extra solo node aswell.

I this possible anybody have a diagram?

I beleive it is. But go to the nearest apartment complex and ask if anyone has a 1k series dish that they left on the balcony. Might be surprised. I could have a nice collection here if I wanted.

It will work as long as you have the proper inb's, but you won't get all you channels.

So do I connect two cables from the 500 dish to the solo node or just one?

You will need both lines I believe... As long as it is a DPP LNB it will work, but you will not get all the channels like stated above.

You will be missing most of your HD channels with the Dish 500.
