Dish 500 LNB connections

I have the dish 500 dish with dual LNBs. The LNB head has 3 output connectors, labeled 1, 2 and ??(I forget). My installation only uses connector 1 hooked up to my DVR receiver. I typically use a Winguard Sat finder on this output and a 15VDC source to lock on and peek the dish and then connect the receiver.

My question, can I hook the sat finder with the 15VDC source to connector 2 and the receiver to connector 1 at the same time? Woud having the two seperate voltage sources damage the LNBs or the receiver?

yeah, that would be fine... to the lnb it would look like 2 seperate receivers... no problem at all

Just for your information you don't have DUAL LNBs you have a TWIN in fact from your description you have aDish Pro Plus TWIN.
