Dish 500 with twin proLNB

I am in Canada, I purchased a used dish 500 with a twin prp LNB. my problem is they say the SW21 switches are built in. If they are how do I hook up to one reciever in order to get two satellites. Bert Zipper

If you hook the receiver up and in the system install screen, there is a "check switch" box. Hit that and it will set your receiver up to get both 110 & 119

What model is the receiver? Some receivers dont work with DishPro unless you have an adapter

Is your system DISH Notwerk or Expressvu?

the 3100 is an expressvu receiver (same as dish 301)

For the Expressvu 3100 reciever, you don't need a dishpro adapter.
I run mine off a DP Quad lnb and DP-34 switch.

When aiming the dish I have to lcate nimig 91 first, I believe 82 will be there after that. I would like to know if the one LNB should be covered with silver paper while trying to find the 92 bird. Bert Z

that would be the easiest...cover the one for 82 (if looking at it from behind the dish, it would be the one on the right

Ah! I misread the 4-digit model number as Legacy. Guess I missed the reference to Bell - oh, there wasn't one.

I thought he was a gray market customer.
