I have a Dish 500 system. I bought a 522 to replace my 501 and a 3x8 switch. What is the easiest way to get the second tuner hooked up? Can I combine the signal coming out of the switch and split it coming out of the wall. There is only 1 coax run into each room. I also have a 508 hooked up in another room. I know this is probably a common question, but I would appreciate any info you can give me. I have the Dish 500 Dual LNB.

In order to use a single cable for the 522, I believe you'll need a DPP switch and DPP seperator but I'll defer to the experts. You cannot use a regular splitter. There are many, many threads on this topic. You can search for one of those or wait for one of the experts to reply.

if those are the only 2 recievers you are going to have, buy a DPP Twin (Dish PRO PLUS Twin)
That will let you run just 1 wire to the 522, and 1 wire to the 508
