The least they could do is allow us to have the option to put the HD Watermark for the OTA channels we add. Just make the option available when we add the OTA channels in the Menu area.

The main reason I want this is because of the amount of space it takes when recording OTA and any other program from an HD channel, as compared to an SD channel.

It's just much easier to manage the recordings and space when you know what is taking all the space.

BTW - It would be nice to be able to Sort by HD recordings as well.

I repeat, it's a gimmick..... Even if they added your suggestion, just because I tag a channel that does show HD programming at times, not everything is in HD.

I really don't care if the programming is an actual HD program or not..........

Some of the programs recorded from my OTA are in HD and some are not...

BUT - they both take up ALOT more space on my Hard Drive compared to the SD programming I get from DISH.

Why not just put the damned show size (taken up on drive) and a gas gauge for space left? Isn't that what Tivo does?
