It is possible that 3 hardware manufacturers produce the receivers for DISH and label them A, B, or C depending on which manufacturer produced your particular unit.

My first 622 was a Rev C, it arrived DOA. Dual mode would not work and none of the DVR functions could be accessed.

The replacement 622 a few days later was a rev D.
