Is there anything I can do with this box or should I melt it? I can't seem to decode local cable, get ota, see inputs, upgrade software without sat connection. Just a whole lot of menus on this thing and nothing seems to help.
Little background, used to have dish service and cancelled. Never returned the box due to laziness, was charged $300 and now they won't take it back. It has software 3.8.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
