Dish Anywhere iPad app - Reset Receiver?

What does this do? Reboot my receiver?
I am on the road, accessing my hopper at home, and none of my recording are showing. I've look on the iPad app and dish anywhere.com. Not sure where my recording went, but thinking maybe a reboot of receiver will fix the issue? Would hitting reset do this on the iPad app?

H2K or HWS? I was having the same problem when I had an H2K with the sling adapter. After I replaced mine with HWS's I never had the problem again.

As dwarren2 alludes to, you need either a Hopper with (built-in) Sling or a receiver with the Sling adapter to get this functionality.

The reboot receiver does reboot your receiver at home. Nice tool if you are having trouble with DA away from home. It's exactly what you think it is.

Correct, but while away from hkme(maybe a long vacation) this is the best you can get. Isn't it Dish that says "will resolve 75% of your problems". Lol
