DISH DVR 625 - Replace Modem

My modem got fried in a lightning strike (I'm assuming since the "no telephone connection" sign appeared the next day) on my receiver. The diagnostics confirmed that there is "a problem with your modem". The receiver is working fine. Is there anyway to open the receiver and just replace the modem?

You can't save (to EHD) programs from a 625. Boba must be thinking 622.

Your right I was thinking VCR or DVD while 625 is still working correctly he can watch and record any programming before returning the defective 625.
