It was announced in huge full page ads in the Flicks magazine. It was announced in the guide.

Why would you pay 4.25/month to look at TV listings? That's what the EPG is for.

We haven't sold a subscription to the Dish entertainment magazine in ages. Ever since the DVR's started to have 9 days worth of program information it made the magazine obselete.

The only people I know buying the magazine are old people that are too set in their ways that they refuse to even use the guide.

There is alot of people out there that have never used the guide. All they know is channel up, channel down and how to enter the channel number.

LMAO - true. Had to show my in-laws that. They "always wondered" what the guide button was for......

so true. My grandma is one of them. Until my dad got the DVR he was one of them too.

I do like being able to view the movie index and see what movies I might want to see and when an where they are on for the month
