Will the GloryStar work with the Dish Hopper with the OTA accessory that can be purchased from DISH for $50? Would be great if the GloryStar channels could be recorded on the Hopper/Joey.

The Dish Network Hopper OTA adapter only receives ATSC over the air terrestrial channels and it does not allow recording of any other source. They could support any type of input, but have chosen only to support ATSC.
Maybe contact Dish Network and request an adapter to accept other input types?
Starting in April, all new Glorystar systems (including the basic receiver) will include DVR capability. Every receiver will provide recording capability by simply plugging in an USB drive!
