What a ridiculous and UNinformed statement. I actually barely knew Claude. We had very little interaction through the years.
With a divisive issue like Flock cameras.....people seeing pics of Dish installers putting up these things could very well end up going "viral" as they like to say these days and could easily cost Dish hundreds of thousands of customers. I didn't say I WANTED it to happen. Good night...pick your battles.

As for the 2 weeks out svc call dates, I've had 2 or 3 in the past month alone. Did one the other day that was set up 9 days out. I didn't set up these time frames....just reporting what I am seeing.
Were you not available 2 weeks ago to service?

I remember 2-week service scheduling going way back with DiSH. These were the unfortunates who had been steered (tricked) into getting it directly from them rather than being referred to local dealers, and now DiSH doesn't have a timely answer for them when there's a problem, and/or is trying to guide them over the phone for maybe an hour to self-replace components. Some would end up calling me out of desperation after some searching. My policy was always same day or essentially immediate service if reasonably possible. When customers call and you can immediately fix them over the phone or if not and a half hour later you're there, including evenings & weekends, it leaves a lasting impression. As in "who does that, anymore?"

What in the world are you talking about!! Do you understand how the dhpp service call program works? Obviously not. If a customer who has the home protection plan calls Dish, it is DISH, NOT the retailer who sets the date for the service call. The retailer of record then gets and email informing them of the appointment. Now of course I took care of these either the day I got them or the next day and closed out the work order.

But the cx sat there waiting 2 weeks for DiSH to let you know they needed fixed? Look, how do you get that I'm blaming you, at least yet? You seem rather thinskinned. Are you their originating/installing dealer?

I have never had to wait two weeks mine was always the next day. Morning or afternoon apt my choice on time frame!!!

Okay, now I know you have no idea how the system works, that's fine but you should really restrain yourself from making assumptions when you don't know the rules of the game.
A customer calls Dish, Dish sets the appointment....the SAME DAY the retailer of record gets an auto-generated email informing them that there is a work order. The retailer logs into the Hub and can either accept it or not. If they don't do anything it will go into rejected status.
I re-read my original post and frankly don't see how you thought the customer had to wait 2 weeks for me to get to them when I clearly stated I got out there that same day or the next.
I'm not thin skinned BUT, I don't like being falsely accused either. If I don't state something clear enough, the respectful thing would be to ask me to clarify, not make assumptions.

I'm talking about your blatant and obvious disdain for DISH and 2 or 3 in the last month are not "2 weeks out" on all their work orders. Since you're obviously not new to DISH, you know summer is the busy season, and your market is either very busy or short-handed or both

Once again....you are putting words in my mouth and then demand I defend something I didn't say. I didn't say ALL work orders are 2- weeks out. I was talking about my personal experience with the work orders I receive. I even mentioned one that was 9 days out. IF I did have "blatant and obvious disdain for Dish" which I don't, I would have let that 2 week out svc call date stand pat and made the customer wait until that time window that DISH set...once again, NOT ME. I didn't do that however, I got out to the customer as soon as I could.

You seem to have an obvious issue with me and my posts. Why not spare yourself the grief and put me on your ignore list...you'll probably sleep better at night.

You obviously didn't read this so I'm reposting it. But by all means.....double down on making things up.

There you go, backtracking again. I quoted what you originally said.
Yes.....and I said they were booking out service calls two weeks out. I had two of them back to back within a couple of days of each other.
It is clear to everyone reading this thread what I said....multiple times

Yeah, I see all the no one else agreeing with you
English not a primary language ehh?
Don't exactly see them agreeing with you either. To be quite honest, they probably think this is a stupid conversation. I know I do. I'm done with it. I guess we are to believe that I am the ONLY dealer who has had work orders set 2 weeks out. NOBODY else has.
Good thing for MY customers that I intervened and didn't let Dish handle it, otherwise they would STILL be waiting. Well, actually I take that back, one was scheduled for today. I also had ONE customer who had to wait 4 days after I first went out, which was the day I got the svc call email, simply because it took 4 days for the replacement Joey 3 to arrive....usually only takes one day, not sure why the delay.

Hey folks... this is a support forum for helping people not chewing folks out and fighting with others.

Seems as though we have a few (I wont name names but they wil be the first to be upset about me saying this) folks who don't have Dish yet are here to put DIsh down the people who have dish down or just like starting folks.

Those folks may soon find out they no longer have access.

We are here to help people out. If you want to fight with others, well thats why we have The Pit. Be my guest and do it there.

So please lets get back to helping one another.

Thank. you.
