Dish Internet?

Are you talking about the commercial that says "get speeds up to 4g". Yeah that requires a second dish. The service is called dishNET and you either get the Viasat service or Hughesnet service depending in area.

Dish is launching a wireless based internet somewhere that's cell phone type internet. I don't know much else about it.

Forget DishNET,their caps are so ridiculously low,it's not worth it. If you need satellite internet then go with Exede, which DishNET is a neutered version of. Probable second choice, either Hughesnet or Verizon HomeFusion LTE Broadband. Dish is partnering with nTelos to test fixed LTE in rural Virginia,& partnering with Sprint to do the same in Corpus Christi,Texas.

I agree with the above statement. Also if in your area you can ask about dishnet wireline. That's centurylink in areas that previously had qwest available. Until CL bought them out
