DISH IR-to-UHF Pro Upgrade Kit Code for iLIVE ITP 100B Sound Bar

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]I have a 211K receiver that came with a 20.0 IR remote. I was able to teach the DISH 20.0 IR remote ( using the AUX button) to control the mute and volume but NOT the power of the iLIVE bar. The code I can pull from the taught 20.0 remote is 2111. [/FONT]


[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]Since the 211K is in a cabinet , I bought the subject DISH upgrade kit. Using the supplied 10.1 UHF Pro remote with the KIT and following all the instruction including the “ Device Code Scan “, I have been unsuccessful in controlling the iLIVE Bar.[/FONT]

[FONT=Verdana, sans-serif]I tried to input the 2111 code from the 20.0 remote but the 10.1 remote would not accept the code.[/FONT]

Use the remote that came with the sound bar.

Get an ir extender to extend the IR signal, and use the 20.0 remote.

I don't think you will get the 10.0 remote to work

Or get a Nextgen UHF adapter. It replaces one of the batteries in the 20.0 remote. You already have the 20.0 programmed, $30-50 on ebay.

I have and have been doing all the suggestions. But I would have liked to get the new remote to work . I guess I am SOL. Thanks Bob
