Dish Movie Pack Deals?

Has anyone gotten a discount recently on the Dish Movie Pack? My 1/2 off deal for 6 months expired. I used to re-up it by going to Dish’s site and going thru the motions of dropping the package. It would automatically offer me the deal again if I kept it, but they’ve taken that away / “fixed it”.

Last time I checked, I was told there are no discounts available for that package. It's a pretty good deal at $10 considering it includes Epix.

It does appear after they took out Epix movies, they decided to keep it in and not giving discounts. There are two ways to look at that. 1. Not a bad deal for all the Epix channels plus the Movie Pack channels, and indeed we watch from that pack often.
OR - 2. But they always charged $10 for that package including Epix and often had deals to get it for 1/2 price.

I would have to guess Epix increased their cost to DISH.

After the HBO promos were all yanked, I switched to Movie Pack and haven’t looked back

About a week ago I was redeeming an offer for showtime. Must have been a glitch in the system because it removed my other premiums including the movie pack.

Called in to get it straightened out and the csr put the movie pack back on my account at 50% off for 6 months. It does include the epix channels as well.

I watch a lot on demand, with access to EPIX on demand and the STARZ on demand it’s hard for me to say I can’t find something to watch.

That bug is a real hassle. I redeemed a Showtime $5/month offer and didn’t notice it blanked out my locals and Dish Movie Pack before I hit submit. I’ve been trying to add on a similar Starz offer, but it always blanks out my Showtime package. Oh well....I guess I’ll have to call to get it added and see if they give me a deal on the Dish Movie Pack as well.

DISH recently sent me a letter telling me I'm part of the "DISH Elite", & that I could get DMP for $5 f/6 months. (also got the same offer on Starz)
But honestly, after my last 1/2 price promo ran out a few months ago & they stopped renewing it, I really don't miss it & don't want to give DISH more $$$.
