Hi I'm new to this forum. I was wondering if it is possible to subscribe to Dish Network...have them install my dish for me and pick up signal using their box on one tv and pick up signal using a SonicView 8000HD on another tv? If so, can someone explain to me how I can have that done? Thank you in advance

Depending upon your objective or which satellite you wanted to receive, you could add a Ku LNB to a Dishnet dish and if the signal was strong enough it might work. The first question that really needs to be answered is what FTA channels are you trying to receive?

Mainly trying to get 110 and 119. Specifically, trying to get ch 455 for fight main events etc. I'm trying to decide between dn vs the other sat company. If it's possible to connect my 8000hd then I'm going to go with dn.

There are no FTA channels on 110 and 119.......especially Ch 455, so if you are trying to get that without paying, that is hacking not FTA.....or am I reading wrong what you are saying?
