Dish Network Pre-order Digital Tv Convertor Boxes ?

I got coupons not long ago to use at another house in which we have no satellite system. They expire on 5/27/2008 and I did not realize that Dish Network was not coming out with their converter boxes until after that. Is there a way to use these coupons to pre-order their boxes? I dont want to spend anything to get them. I want to get them for $40 or less so that the final price is $0.

Is Dish Network going to do pre-orders so that those that have expiration date before their boxes are released can still use their coupons? Dish Network is going to lose a lot of potential coupon users if they do not do this. I got mine as quickly as I could because they said that there were limited quantities but I still see them advertise on tv that there are some available.

DID you contact Dish Network to see if they accept preorders.AT CES they indicated they would but the best way to find out is tio ask them---they may send you to Echostar (now a separate company) but it is a start.

The Dish Network website sort of implies that maybe they're not taking pre-orders as they recommend waiting to get your coupons to keep them from expiring. From what i gather, they don't expect TR-40 availability until about June.

Coupons are being sent on a staggered basis – not all at once. Because of the high demand for coupons at the beginning of the program, it may take some time for you to receive your coupon. The table below shows the scheduled mail date based on the date your request was received and processed:

As has been mentioned before the CES announcement indicated taht they do. I don't even want one but I may call to see what the situation really si instead of guessing.
