DISH Network® Launches Four GMA Channels in Filipino Programming

Four new Filipino channels from a leading Philippine broadcaster are available through two programming packages

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. – Oct. 3, 2008 – DISH Network Corporation (NASDAQ: DISH), a leading U.S. satellite-TV service provider, announces today that it began offering four new Filipino programming channels through two new International programming packages as of September 18:

GMA Pinoy TV – The first international channel of leading television station GMA Network, GMA Pinoy TV airs most of the current top-rated programs from the Philippines, each of which are winners in their time blocks. Programming is family-oriented and is composed of news, public affairs, sitcoms, soap operas, games shows, variety shows and talk shows.

GMA LIFE TV – In addition to mainstream entertainment, GMA LIFE TV has a line-up of heart-warming and inspiring programs that feature the Filipinos’ lifestyles and interests.

DZBB “Super Radyo” – GMA Network’s AM radio station in the Philippines, DZBB is considered one of the top stations in the AM band in Metro Manila. It is also recognized as one of the most award-winning radio stations in the Philippines.

DWLS “Barangay LS” – The FM radio station of RGMA, a subsidiary of the GMA Network, DWLS was previously known as Campus Radio. The station plays pop songs and original Filipino music.

The four new channels will be offered as part of the new GMA Pinoy Package for only $19.99 per month or the Pinoy Mega Package for $23.99 per month. These packages join DISH Network’s popular Viva Pinoy Pack featuring Viva TV, NBN America and RPN USA for $11.99 per month.
