dish network vip722k won't accept hauppauge IR blaster wmc remote / tuner 2213 2250

Anyone know the proper code for the vip722k? and what other settings are needed for the #1 remote (ir) to work with hauppauge wmc remote? Poor answers from microsoft site; two attempts with Hauppauge techs; taped ir blaster to IR window; new batteries; etc.; can anyone lead me through the setup? Thank you, !gizmo11

I can't give you a proper answer, but most aftermarket IR remotes require the Dish receiver be configured so the IR remote address for TV#1 be set as remote address 01.
