Dish OTA RCA Antenna -VHF missing

Hello,

I have just received a OTA RCA indoor antenna from Dish. I live in Dallas, TX. I am available to receive all the local channels except channel 8 (ABC). I believe thats the only here that broadcasts in VHF. Do the Dish RCA Antenna include VHF channels? is there any workaround for this?

Antennas receive all signals, it is just that some are better at some frequencies than others. The Dish RCA is probaly smaller is size and will work better with UHF signals. VHF works better with larger antennas. That is you work around, a different antenna.

Let me add that you can combine the antenna Dish gave you with a VHF antenna by using a preamp with 2 inputs, like the RCA TVPRAMP1Z .
